One Simple Step To Unclog Your Disposable Vape
To unclog the vast majority of disposable hemp or cannabis vapes, you simply need to flip the vape upside down and blow through the charging port. Some vapes locate the charging port on the side, but it usually works the same way. To tell if it’s working, pay attention to the indicator light (if your vape has one). If the light turns on, that means the vape is working on clearing the clog. Continue until vapor begins to come through the mouthpiece.
Pro Tip: To prevent damaging your vape by doing this, try to blow gently and for short periods of time. If you get the coil too hot, you could burn your oil before the clog clears itself.
Why It Works
Vapes that do not have a button utilize a mechanism that pulls a connection together as you draw through the mouthpiece. When that connection is made, the device’s coil turns on and begins producing vapor for you to inhale. When oil enters the coil and then later solidifies, the lack of a button means that airflow can not be pulled through the device in order to fire the coil and clear the clog. The construction of most vapes will, however, allow reverse airflow through the charging port which will activate the coil from the other side, resulting in the clog getting cleared.
